MILLER’S HISTORY
The original Miller’s Downtown, sister to the Subject Property, has been in operation for over 30 years in Charlottesville, Virginia and has been the known for years as the birth place of the Dave Matthews Band. Dave Matthews was a bartender at Miller’s in 1989 as was another member of his original band who came together, practiced and performed at Miller’s.
Situated in the Downtown Hook of Charlottesville, Miller’s began a strong foundation in business and customer base that was sure to produce a lasting future in the restaurant business. The Owners opened a sister location in Downtown Carrollton in 2004, which quickly became one of Carrollton’s most popular locations with it’s causally elegant atmosphere. Miller’s Downtown Georgia has built a great reputation in the West Georgia area with a wonderful client list and guests who patronize the restaurant several times per week.
Offering American Continental Cuisine with an Authentic French Creole influence in a very nice yet casual dining environment has made Miller’s Downtown an outstanding choice of food and entertainment. There is a house band that performs live music on Friday nights, which is a big draw. The recipes used at Miller’s are time tested and prepared using only the finest of ingredients available.
At the present time, Miller’s is open to the public for dinner and late night hours. Hours of operation are Tuesday—Saturday 5pm-10pm/10pm-2am Late Night & starting July 5th, Miller’s Downtown GA will be open Sunday and Monday nights as well. There is very little employee turn over at this location with some employees being with Miller’s since its opening six years ago.
